RachelRachel Keller is a fictionalized character in The Ring movie series. The character of Rachel Keller the fictional character of The Ring film series, was invented by Ehren Kr ger. The character is played by Naomi Watts. Rachel must look into the death of Samara Morgan her son in The Ring Two. Ruth Rachel's sister is adamant Rachel to investigate the enigmatic circumstances surrounding Katie's sudden death. Rachel learns from her that Katie was healthy and she discovered Katie's corpse disfigured in the closet. Katie's friends tell Rachel about the legend of the cursed tape and how Katie's friend Becca was put in an institution due to Katie's tragic death. Katie's boyfriend and two friends were killed in bizarre accidents the same night , at 10 at night. Rachel travels to Shelter Mountain Inn, where she stays in Cabin 12. This is the cabin one Katie as well as her fellow guests saw the tape that was cursed. Rachel discovers the tape and after it is finished the phone calls. Rachel hears a voice utter "seven days". Rachel is seeking help from her ex-boyfriend Noah Clay, a video analyst. Rachel finds out later that Aidan, Noah's son, saw the tape as Noah was calling her. He tells Rachel that the tape is believed by Rachel. Rachel investigates the lighthouse on the tape and discovers that it is located on Moesko Island, the home of a slain horse breeder known as Anna Morgan, who appeared on the videotape that was cursed. Rachel found out that Anna was the mother of an adopted child named Samara who was able to burn frightening images into the minds and bodies of animals, humans as well as objects. Rachel is introduced to Anna's widower Richard Richard, however, he demands her leave as she begins to ask questions about Samara.
