Richards was born in Penarth (Wales). She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. After performing in short films she was featured in the S4C Welsh language magazine show Mosgito. She also was in short films. The roles she played were frequently featured on BBC TV programs Crash and Being Human. In 2012 she was a part of the FOX comedy Breaking In as an executive assistant who has exaggerated English accent. 3. In the month of January, 2012 she was made a regular on Breaking In. [4][5] She co-starred in the part of Sharon in Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego's horror film Open Grave, alongside Sharlto Copley. She was Barbara Kean on the FOX Television series Gotham from 2014 to the year 2019. She was the director of "The Jim Gordon Trial" in her fifth season episode. The episode debuted on 7 March 2019. [1][8] FOX reports that she will be starring with Max Brown (and John Hurt) in an unreleased independent movie called That Good Night. She's also been featured in The Quiet Ones and Open Grave as well as in television, Being Human in Britain. She currently resides in New York City, Los Angeles, London.
