LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James is known for his role as King James and is considered to be one of the most successful basketball players in history. James has been awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVP Awards, and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has most points in playoffs, the second-highest point total, and the seventh highest career assist total. James has been the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. James has also been selected for the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever, including eight in a row from 2011 to 2018. In 2018 he was also selected to join the team for NBA's 75th anniversary. James was chosen to be part of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. He was the NBA's first player with 10,000 points, rebounds and assist in 2022. James was a basketball player in St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron in Ohio. He was hailed by media across the nation as the future NBA superstar. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, He quickly established himself as one of the top league players, winning the NBA MVP Award in 2010 and 2009.
