Robyn Rihanna Fenty also referred to as Rihanna is a Barbadian musician and singer who has given us hit songs such as Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. She is still in her prime. Rihanna has emerged as one of music's most popular artist. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music and began singing when she was quite young. In the wake of being disturbed by turbulent nature of her household life and constant battles with her father she began to get involved with music. Before long she realized she was destined to be a professional. While still in highschool, she formed a music group and was invited to perform with Evan Rodgers. The producer was extremely impressed by the talent of this teenager. Rihanna moved into New York so that she could begin her singing career. Rihanna made her debut album, and was an overnight sensation. The young crowd was captivated by her songs with a catchy sound that made them tap their feet. This led Rihanna into the movie industry. She's now a teen idol and model. Rihanna uses her celebrity to good use and has been active in many charities.
